Wedding at the Sheraton Denarau, Fiji

Lisa and Brett got married on the lawn of the Sheraton in Denarau with their family. They chose Fiji because they ” wanted a small and intimate wedding with just the close family; to make it very special for the kids with lots of long lasting memories.” So they decided to make a trip of it, rather than a day of it.

Lisa is telling us about her wedding : “As it was so humid and hot, I wanted to have our hair done and makeup done in our room so that we would not have to walk through the resort with it. Totoka hair and makeup were great and it meant that we could relax in the comfort of our own room, sip on champagne and have some food platters to graze on while we hung around. We also had a hens day where we all got spray tans and nails done in our room the day before the wedding by Balance Fiji. During this time the boys went and played golf at the Sheraton.

The Sheraton wedding team were awesome and I could not have asked for better service. Every email that I sent was answered promptly by Miriama. No question was too small and Miriama went out of her way to ensure my day went exactly as I had pictured it in my head.

I was not used to being photographed, I never take selfies of myself and I don’t really like the camera. So being the center of attention in all the photos was something new to me. Anais was able to make me feel comfortable from the moment she stepped into our room. She captured every special moment and really took the time before we got there to work out what type of photos we were after. I could not have been happier with how the photos turned out.

The location was perfect and was absolutely stunning. I’m so glad we choose Fiji to get married. “
