Ricki and Jeff had to wait an extra two years for their wedding because of Covid. We had been in touch together for almost 4 years… I was so happy and excited when they finally got to tied the knot! here are their answers to a few questions about their beautiful day.

Why did you choose Namale?

We chose Namale due to the secluded location and glowing reviews. Our experience was fantastic.

It was everything we had hoped – quiet, beautiful, great food, relaxed atmosphere and very friendly. 

Any tips to give for future brides about getting married in Fiji?

Prepare for humidity! Definitely hire Anais and stay relaxed. Enjoy every moment!

How did you enjoy the day?

It was perfect. We spent the morning on the beach, had lunch then departed. Ricki got ready in a separate location from Jeff. Namale provided snacks and drinks for both of us and steamed our clothes so we had nothing to worry about!

Where did your flowers come from?

Namale helped coordinate those. I asked them to make them colorful and let them have free reign on ideas. They did not disappoint!!

What about hair and make-up?

I did my own since the options for stylists are limited. The secluded location doesn’t provide an abundance of vendors but the ones available are great!

Where did you buy your dress? Your shoes? And Jeff’s gown? The rings?

My dress was purchased at Wendy’s bridal boutique in Ohio. Jeffs suit was purchased from Dillards, our rings were from Helzberg and my shoes are from the one and only, Sarah Jessica Parker! 

How was your experience with the photographer?  

Perfectly splendid! We are SO glad we chose/found Anais and loved meeting her. She was extremely friendly with great ideas and kept everything very comfortable. She was efficient with time and didn’t miss a moment of fun, candid shots. 

Anything you would like to add?

Just that fiji May not be an easy place to travel to but if you have the means it is 100% worth it. We did not regret one bit of it and will have amazing memories that could only be made in Fiji. Vinaka!!!!! (thank you in Fijian)
