Joanne and James have been together for 10 years and already have two bubbly sons. They live in New Zealand and since Joanne’s parents came to visit them from the UK they jumped on the opportunity to elope in Fiji. James had proposed 5 years ago so they were delighted to finally getting married. here are some words from the beautiful bride Joanne :

Why did you choose the Radisson? How was your experience with the resort?

« We chose the Radisson because we have two kids and wanted them to have lots of fun with the slides and various pools. And I had also heard from various people that it was a great resort for families and it didn’t disappoint.

Any tips to give for future brides about getting married in Fiji?

Just relax and enjoy the process, the event staff have it all under control so no need to stress. But just make sure you have all your paperwork organised.

How did you enjoy the day?

We had the best day, it honestly went better than I imagined and we loved every minute of it.

Where did your flowers come from?

The Radisson organized it for us. I wanted a simple white bouquet, so chose to have white orchids and frangipani.

What about hair and make-up?

I’m a hairdresser myself so I done my own hair and make up too.

Who were the entertainers? (serenade singers) What do you think about them?

The serenade singers were from the resort and were fantastic, we chose to use the sound system for our reception and had our own playlist.

How was your experience with the photographer 😉 ?

We had a wonderful experience with Anaïs and got the most amazing photographs to capture our day.
She was fantastically patient with our two boys and let them have fun so we got the most natural photos of them.

Anything you would like to add?

If we could have our day all over again we would and wouldn’t change a single thing. It was fantastic from start to finish and we loved every minute of it.
I would 100% recommended the Radisson and Anaïs to anyone that was thinking about having a destination wedding. »
