Anya and D’Arcy embarked on a romantic journey all the way from Canada (British Columbia) to explore the captivating beauty of the Fiji Islands. After two weeks of island hopping and exploring Viti Levu, the mainland, we rendezvoused for a special Engagement photo session towards the end of their unforgettable vacation.

Off the Beaten Track: The Unique Setting of Sigatoka Sand Dunes

Opting for an Off the Beaten Track location, Anya and D’Arcy chose the mesmerizing Sigatoka Sand Dunes, a National Park just an hour away from the International Nadi Airport. This hidden gem in Fiji boasts majestic black-sand dunes by a wild beach in Sigatoka, creating a distinctive and unknown landscape.

The vast, blank spaces and natural curves of the dunes provided a stunning backdrop for their Couple’s Photo Session. The drone shots, in particular, captured the essence of the location, emphasizing the endless possibilities seen from above. To add a personal touch, Anya and D’Arcy playfully drew their wedding date in the sand and positioned themselves inside a giant heart they drew in the sand, creating what could be a “Save the date” postcard.

During the photoshoot, a charming young Fijian girl named Mina spontaneously joined us. Her presence added an extra layer of warmth to the story, showcasing the well-known hospitality of the Fijian people. Mina’s adorable assistance turned the session into a delightful and unforgettable experience.
