Tessa and Jon joyfully gathered their nearest and dearest at Musket Cove, Fiji, for a stunning wedding ceremony on the island, set on the lush lawn surrounded by swaying palm trees and the tranquil expanse of the ocean. The magical celebration continued with a reception at the Deck’s restaurant, beneath the cabana.

Why did you choose Musket Cove?

We chose Musket Cove for its sentimental value, as it was the very place where we exchanged our engagement vows, a mere 6 months before our wedding.

Any tips to give future brides about getting married in Fiji? 

No tips, other than to be relaxed and go with the flow, expect things to be done in Fiji time 🙂

How did you enjoy the day?

We loved our day, it was exactly what we wanted, an intimate wedding with our closest friends and family.

Where did your flowers come from? 

My flowers were from the resort, tailored white and green fresh florals which was exactly what I wanted.

What about hair and make-up?

My makeup and hair was done by lodoviko who did an excelt job, very natural and everything stayed put for the day.

Who were the entertainers? What do you think about them?

We kept our wedding simple, we utilised the island band for a couple of hours, and all music before and after was a wedding spotify list we played through the speakers.

Your dress? Your shoes? And Jon’s gown? The rings?

Our rings were custom made in Melbourne, and my gown and the grooms suit were both sourced in Melbourne as well. We were fortunate enough to both snatch up the first wedding attire we tried on.

How was your experience with the photographer?

Our experience with Anais was everything we could have hoped for. She is extremely experienced, kind and went above and beyond on our big day. She always had open lines of communication and very direct and knowledgeable with the wedding timeline/photo angles etc. Most importantly, she always made us feel comfortable and remained patient with us. Our photos turned out amazing, it was exactly what we asked for – candid and relaxed. We wouldn’t change a thing!
